December 8-12
**A.R. point goal for this grading period is 5 points (by Dec. 18). Students should be reading at home 20 min. 3 times/wk. and completing their reading log. Logs are checked on Friday.

6th Grade reading: We will read "Zoo Story" and focus on generalizing. (pgs. 180-185). TEST ON WEDNESDAY, DEC. 17. Work will be completed in class, but students should study vocab. words and workbook pages for the test.

6th Grade language: We will work on identifying and writing singular and plural nouns. TEST ON TEST on Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Lit. Skills
We will continue working in our Best Practices in Reading workbook.

6th Grade - 7th Period
We will continue to work on decoding, vocabulary, character, setting, and plot.
Spelling: Words will be sent home on Monday. Put spelling words in ABC order.
