**A.R. point goal for this grading period is 5 points. Students should be reading at home 20 min. 3 times/wk. and completing their reading log. Logs are checked on Friday.

1/2 & 3/4 Periods
6th Grade reading: Unit 1, Theme 4 (The Magic Gourd). We will focus on making inferences and determining cause and effect. Homework will be for those who don't finish work in class.
No spelling this week.

5th Peiord
We will work on literary skills in reading.

7th/8th Reading
We will continue working in the Triumphs Reading Series.
