Students should be reading (3) nights each week for at least 20 minutes. Parent/Guardian please sign the log each night your child reads. Thanks for your help!
Reading
1/2, 3/4 Periods
This week we will focus on character, setting, and plot. Homework will only be given if work is not completed in class. Students will need to review vocabulary words and review their reading at home during the week. Test on Wednesday, September 3.
7/8 Periods
Thursday - Timed reading will be sent home on Thursday, 8-28-08.
No spelling this week!
Language
1/2, 3/4 Periods
Students complete a Daily Language Review at the beginning of class each day and turn it in for a grade on Friday. We have a test each Friday on the DLRs we have gone over that week.
We will reivew sentence structure and types of sentences. Homework will only be given if work is not completed in class. Test on Wednesday, September 3.
